Simple Ways You Can Support Eden Everyday
There are many different ways individuals and families can automatically generate streams of income for Eden without requiring them to spend any extra money. Here is an update of these programs and how they have generated income for Eden since their inception:

Thank you for the support! With your help, to date, we have earned a total of $15,619 in overall funds from the BoxTops for Education Program! This number represent the total funds raised for Eden since joining the General Mills Program in November 2011.
For 2016, Eden’s BoxTops program raised $3,369.10. This was a combination of the 19,941 collected in BoxTops coupons as well as $1,375 in cash donations. The proceeds raised are continuing to fund the School and Adult Garden Programs. The next BoxTops classroom submission date is Wednesday, February 15, 2017. The classroom that collects the most BoxTops coupons during the winter collection period will win a pizza party and the runner-up will win a $50 gift card to Target.
Garden and Greenhouse Update:
Tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, onions, lettuce, green beans, oregano, basil, flowers and much more is growing in the Eden gardens. Thanks to the wonderful care and maintenance of Eden’s students, adults and Garden Club members, our gardens are flourishing. The garden program continues to be a wonderful hands-on learning experience for our students and adults all year long. Gardens have a way of wakening the senses, encouraging social skills, achievement and team work as well as allowing an individual to find themselves one with nature.
Thank you to everyone who has sent in BoxTops for Education, in-kind items and cash donations in support of Eden’s Gardening Program. Your efforts have made the gardens possible. Also a big THANK YOU goes out to Eden’s Garden Club which is made up of amazing teacher volunteers. Their enthusiasm in working side-by-side with our students and adults and seeing the program succeed is inspiring.

LABELS FOR EDUCATION
The Labels for Education Program (sponsored by the Campbell’s Soup Company) will be ending soon. Please send in your remaining product labels with UPC’s to the Eden School by May 1, 2017. Depending on how much we save, the school will be able to get an item(s) it is in need of, such as: an IPad, art supplies, gym equipment, etc. Thank you for your support!

RAFFLE DISTRIBUTION COMMITTEE
A Committee was created to oversee the distribution of the proceeds raised from the Annual Eden Parent Raffle. This committee is called the RDC and consists of 2 Eden School Parents, 1 Eden Adult Services Day Program Parent and 1 Eden Residential Services Parent. The committee recently approved the spending on the following wish list items:

Planning for the 2017 Parent Raffle that will be held during the Eden Autism 5K and Fun Run in October 2017 is well under way. The raffle committee has been very busy working with Eden parents and corporations to secure funding for the raffle and incentive prizes.
