Eden offers home-based services to meet the needs of the entire family. These services may serve as a supplement to the students’ academic program, or to provide behavioral support methods to families.
ABA Therapy
One of Eden’s Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) will conduct skills and behavior assessments to develop goals and an individualized treatment plan for your child. Our skilled ABA Therapists will work directly with your child on his or her goals, under the supervision of the BCBA. Family Training is provided as well to ensure consistent carry-over of programs outside of session time.
Speech Therapy
Services begin with an assessment of each child’s present level of communication, followed by the development of specific communication goals. While emphasis is placed on verbal speech, augmentative systems may also be taught to aid a child in his or her individual communication efforts.
Family Training
This service focuses on teaching parents and caregivers how to effectively address home life situations that are often difficult for families with a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Eden’s experienced professionals work with parents and caregivers in the development of realistic goals, then design practical “family-friendly” strategies to reach those goals. Through hands-on demonstration, parents and caregivers can observe and then implement these strategies with the coaching of the Eden professional.
