Gbenga has been with Eden for five years, and he currently works at The Place Apartment. He received the award for his unwavering commitment to ensuring the men in his care receive the highest level of support.
His diligence in coordinating and attending medical appointments has been instrumental in maintaining the health and well-being of the residents of The Place Apartment. Nutrition and health are priorities for Gbenga. He demonstrates exceptional creativity in encouraging picky eaters to maintain a balanced diet, always seeking solutions that are both practical and compassionate.
Beyond his day-to-day responsibilities, Gbenga is a natural leader and role model. He trains new staff, models appropriate behavior, and uplifts his team through collaboration.
What sets Gbenga further apart is his unique contribution to the personal development of the participants. With a master’s degree in applied statistics with a concentration in biostatistics, he shares his knowledge by teaching math skills to the individuals he supports.
