In honor of Direct Support Professional Recognition Week (Sept. 13 – Sept. 19), we’re giving back to the individuals who have given our participants and families comfort, support, and joy throughout 2020.
Eden Autism’s Direct Support Professionals have demonstrated compassion, dedication, and endurance as they care for the men and women we support during this unprecedented time in history.
In a time of uncertainty, our DSPs have provided comfort for our families by supporting their loved ones. From ensuring their safety to keeping them engaged and fulfilled while at home, some of the employees in our adult program became extensions of our participants’ families.
Since the inception of our adult program, DSPs have played a critical role in helping our participants live as independently as possible. Their work lies at the very heart of our mission to improve the lives of individuals with autism. This week and every week, we are grateful for the incredible team of DSPs we have at Eden.
To help celebrate DSP Recognition Week, our DSPs will receive special gifts and messages of thanks from families and other staff members as a small token of gratitude for all that they do. We encourage our Eden community to extend your appreciation to DSPs at Eden and throughout the state who have supported individuals through this challenging time.
