Celebrating our #EdenInspires winners for Q3 FY21!

#EdenInspires is an employee recognition program that is designed to acknowledge our colleagues who go above and beyond their everyday responsibilities and represent the ideals of Eden’s Core Values. We are thrilled to announce the winners of our FY21 third quarter #EdenInspires awards.

Todd Tracy — The Eden School
Todd believed more by modifying the activities he teaches in order to accommodate the needs of his students, which includes providing an individual Adapted PE session for a student despite who otherwise does not receive this service. In addition, he is always willing to assist and provide coverage during lunch or leisure so that staff may take their breaks.

Diane Bath — Finance
Diane did what it takes to get the new Accounts Payable and Purchase Order systems in place, and was instrumental in providing in-person support for the Finance team which included gathering back-up documentation for the audit and for COVID reimbursement applications.

Brittany Bosi and Nikole Mauger — Clinical Services
Adam Marcus, Matt Matrale, and Kirk Petrik — The Eden School
This team of dedicated staff did what it takes and responded immediately to an emergency situation that involved the transportation of a student at the end of the school day, and stayed with the student well outside of school hours to ensure his safe return home.

John Gennuso — Facilities
Gia Gore — Real Estate
During the pandemic, Gia and John did what it took to ensure the safety of all staff by coordinating the installation of ionization systems at all Eden locations and acquired electrostatic sprayers to perform in-house sanitation. In addition, Gia assisted with the re-opening of the school, including new signage for social-distancing, new reception desk, and the building of a storage shed and new office.

Banasa Kennedy — Adult Services, Residential
Banasa did what it took for the participants in her care around the holidays and made them feel at home by decorating the house, buying gifts and matching outfits, and keeping the holiday spirit alive.

Colleen Monaco — Human Resources
Colleen did what it takes by clearing her schedule for two consecutive weeks to assist with a series of investigations with the Lead Investigator. This required a significant commitment of full-day interviews, follow up, and more.

Abigail Comito, Colleen Emerson, and Terry Kincs –— The Eden School
Abby, Colleen, and Terry worked together by volunteering with webinars and creating fun activities, such as Kahoot games for Google classrooms, which allowed staff to interact socially on virtual learning days.

Jillian Rusnaczyk — The Eden School
Jillian showed compassion to a family by giving them a listening ear when they were going through a rough time, as well as provided respite care since the family was also struggling with health issues. In addition, Jillian provided support by working in-person 5 days/week to assist with new staff and students.

Congratulations to all our winners, and thank you for all that you do for our participants! Staff can nominate next quarter’s winners on the Eden Staff Matters portal.
