Eden Autism thanks community for support on World Autism Awareness Day

In honor of World Autism Awareness Day, Eden Autism is recognizing the dedicated staff, parents, and community leaders who work with us to help improve the lives of people with autism. Together, we are working to create a more accepting and understanding world for those we love.

From our staff members to our donors, every bit of support given to Eden Autism helps serve the needs of individuals with autism. Our services are designed to enable individuals of all ages to lead fulfilling and engaged lives in their communities. Eden Autism currently has:

  • More than 25 group homes and apartments in central New Jersey,
  • Year-round educational services for children and adolescents with autism, with a student-teacher ratio of 1:1 to 3:1,
  • 95 percent of all high school students actively engaged in training for job placement;
  • And 44 percent of all adult employment participants in a competitive employment role.

None of this would be possible without our devoted staff members, volunteers, parents, corporate partners, and community members who support our mission. The journey toward full inclusion starts with acceptance, and we’ll continue to work alongside our Eden families to create a more inclusive world for individuals with autism.

Finally, join us as we recognize Autism Awareness Month by showcasing the awesomeness of individuals with autism. Use the hashtag #Edeninspires to share stories, moments, or photos that highlight the awesomeness of someone you know with autism. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for #Edeninspires updates all month long.
