Get ready to dance — Retro Fitness of East Windsor is hosting a special Halloween Zumba fundraiser to benefit Eden Autism.
The Drag Me to Zumba Halloween Spook-tacular will be held Monday, October 25 from 7 to 9 pm. NJ Dancing Drag Diva Victoria Courtez will host the Zumba class, and attendees are encouraged to dress up for the costume contest. Prizes include raffle baskets, free shakes, free PT sessions, a free year of their ultimate membership, and other giveaways.
Manager Jesse Kirchoff decided to host the fundraiser as a way to give back to the community. “Zumba is a popular class, and our instructor Victor was doing a similar fundraiser at another location,” he said. “I remember hearing all the women from our gym talking about how great it was, so we said let’s do it for Eden.”
One of the men in Eden’s adult program, Scott, works at Retro Fitness of East Windsor. Everyone from his co-workers to the gym members look forward to seeing Scott at the gym. “He’s part of the family,” said Jesse.
All proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit Eden Autism. Admission is $10 and the event is open to everyone. For more information, visit the Retro Fitness of East Windsor website or call the gym at (609) 301-8330.
