CARF
In 2011, Eden Autism Services Adult Services Program was awarded Three-Year Accreditation by CARF International (Commission on Accreditation and Rehabilitation Facilities). This CARF endorsement represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurability, and accountability.  CARF is an independent, nonprofit accrediting body whose mission is to promote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process that centers on enhancing the lives of the persons served. Founded in 1966 CARF establishes consumer-focused standards to help organizations measure and improve the quality of their programs and services.

NCASES
For the 5th consecutive review since 1993, Eden Institute received accreditation from the National Commission for The Accreditation of Special Education Services (NCASES), which is in effect for four years.  Currently, there are only 23 NCASES accredited programs and Eden is one of only three New Jersey schools to receive this honor.  NCASES evaluates private special education programs and provides accreditation to those organizations that are able to demonstrate best practices within their field by meeting all of the core standards and a high percentage of the remaining standards. There are eight different areas which the site team reviews during their three day evaluation of the program. These include: organization, administration, personnel, services, community, health and safety, financial management, and evaluation. While there is a larger percentage of the 288 standards based in the actual education services the program provides, the site team reviews all areas of the agency to ensure all program areas are up to NCASES standards and are overall a high quality program.

NASET
Eden Institute, the New Jersey-based educational division of Eden Autism Services has been recognized as a NASET (the National Association of Special Education Teachers) School of Excellence.  This distinction has been bestowed upon only a few select qualified licensed private special education schools in the State of New Jersey. Selection as a NASET School of Excellence is the highest level of recognition a private special education school can achieve.  This honor is presented to private special education schools that meet rigorous professional criteria and have demonstrated truly exceptional dedication, commitment and achievement in the field of special education.
