5 Reasons to Attend Eden’s 5K Sponsor Breakfast

The Eden Autism 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk is our biggest annual fundraising event, and we want to ensure businesses and community members get the most out of their 5K experience. That’s why we’re hosting a 5K Sponsor Breakfast on August 1! Here are five benefits you and your company can gain by attending this year’s breakfast.

Engage your employees

Volunteering has countless benefits for companies. Studies have shown that engaging your employees through volunteerism helps retain and attract employees, instills company values, and generates team building. Whether you’re looking to create a company 5K team, volunteer as a group, or simply cheer on other runners, our 5K offers plenty of ways to foster camaraderie among your employees.

Increase your brand’s awareness

This year’s 5K will be bigger than ever before! We’re partnering with the Plainsboro Centennial Celebration to host a family-friendly festival after the race. Attendees can enjoy treats from international food trucks, live music, and activities for the whole family.

More than 1,500 people from the Central Jersey region are expected to attend, making this the perfect event to showcase your company while making a difference. At the breakfast you’ll learn more about the activities planned for this year’s event and how your company can get involved.

Learn fundraising tips and tools from Eden experts

Fundraising can seem overwhelming if you don’t know where to start. At the breakfast, you’ll have the opportunity to meet Eden staff and longtime event sponsors who will offer guidance on how to execute a successful group fundraiser. Learn how to send engaging emails, create team-building exercises, and other activities that will generate buzz across your workplace.

Learn how you can help further Eden Autism’s mission

Every day, Eden serves more than 200 individuals with autism. Your sponsorship will help us continue to support services that are designed to enable individuals of all ages to lead fulfilling and engaged lives in their communities. Come learn how you can make a difference in the lives of children and adults with autism.

Win a prize!

In addition to enjoying a delicious breakfast, attendees can enter to win prizes, network with other business leaders, and tour our brand new day center for aging adults with autism.

Our 5K Breakfast will be held Thursday, August 1 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at Schalks Crossing, 10 Schalks Crossing Road, Plainsboro. Click here to register for the 5K Sponsor Breakfast!
