Kelvin has earned a reputation as a hard worker. F Kelvin has earned a reputation as a hard worker. From his job at Princeton University to helping staff at the day center, he is always looking for ways to participate and stay busy. 

“He’s very friendly. He wants to help out as much as possible,” said Bendas Center Supervisor Kelly Blidi. 

Kelvin doesn’t slow down once he’s home. He assists with laundry, dishes, and other chores. A few nights a week, he joins staff in preparing dinner for himself and his housemate, Travis. 

Cooking dinner might seem mundane to some, but for Kelvin, it provides a sense of independence and pride.
It's National Volunteer Week! Volunteers are an in It's National Volunteer Week! Volunteers are an invaluable part of our mission to improve the lives of individuals with autism. Their work at events and fundraisers helps to provide critical services to autistic children and adults across central New Jersey.

The Pennington School and Eden Autism celebrated i The Pennington School and Eden Autism celebrated inclusion in the workplace yesterday, with a ceremony honoring Zach and Holly for their hard work and dedication to their jobs in Dining Services!

“As a 30-year-old man with autism, having a place where I can grow and contribute means so much to me,” Zach said in a speech during the ceremony.

Every Tuesday, we are highlighting the remarkable Every Tuesday, we are highlighting the remarkable men and women who live in Eden's residences. Today, we are sharing Kelley's story. 

Kelley has been with Eden since she joined the Eden School when she was 7 years old. She has grown into a kind, funny young woman who loves arts and crafts, shopping, and spending time with her housemates, family, and Eden staff. 

“It’s not a house — it’s a home,” said her mom. “It’s a great feeling when I’m pulling out of the driveway that Kelley is in a place where she is so well taken care of.”

Every evening, the men who live at Eden’s Blue Dev Every evening, the men who live at Eden’s Blue Devil House gather around the table for dinner. They don’t start eating until everyone is seated. After living together for 10 years, it has become an important tradition to end their day by sharing a meal. 

Ari, David, Martin, and Michael have created many traditions and routines that they enjoy together. The structure of their week provides the housemates with a sense of comfort and familiarity, and with comfort comes growth.
