Celebrating our #EdenInspires winners for Q1 FY22!

#EdenInspires is an employee recognition program that is designed to acknowledge our colleagues who go above and beyond their everyday responsibilities and represent the ideals of Eden’s Core Values. We are thrilled to announce the winners of our FY22 first quarter #EdenInspires awards.

Victor Cruickshank — Adult Services, Day/Employment
Victor goes above and beyond by ensuring his participants are always engaged with creative activities. For example, he created math worksheets for his participants and increases the difficulty of the problems as they succeed. In addition, he plays cornhole, board games, and exercises with the participants.

Patrick Jackson — Adult Services, Administration
Patrick joined Eden and immediately started making improvements. He does what it takes to ensure the conference rooms are set up, reorganized files, and that office supplies are always stocked and available. In addition, he is instrumental when it comes to ELT, making sure the room is set up with all training materials, and that necessary sign-offs are collected timely. Most recently, Patrick started assisting with lunch audits which allows Eden to be reimbursed through the state.

Jazmin Jenkins — Adult Services, Residential
Jazmin did what it takes while her supervisor was on a leave of absence by not only ensuring her responsibilities as a DSP were covered, but maintained other duties such as cleanliness throughout the group home and providing leadership to others.

Beth Kop’Kash — The Eden School
Beth goes above and beyond for her students and her colleagues on a daily basis. She assures all students’ needs are met and always offers a helping hand to her colleagues. In addition, she is reliable and committed to both the School and Extended Day Program.

Babajide Lawal — Adult Services – Residential
Baba does what it takes on a daily basis. He works with compassion as he develops a rapport with our participants in order to address their needs. Baba is also a team player and assists other staff who may be having difficulty in completing strategies. He is dependable and covers shifts on the weekends frequently as well.

Kahanna Ademu-John, Crystal Albin, Brittany Carroll — Adult Services, Day/Employment
Christine Dehart — Speech and Language
Kahanna, Crystal, Brittany, and Christine worked together to ensure the safety of a participant who was having consistent behaviors, and jumped in without hesitation to assist for over an hour.

Paul Bernard — Adult Services, Residential
Paul works together with the training department by participating in several optional trainings and encourages his staff to attend as well. In addition, he took initiative to be trained on the Eden assessment & curriculum, and followed through with assessing the participants’ skills in order to choose appropriate goals.

Tommie Neal — Adult Services, Residential
Tommie stepped up while his supervisor was on a leave of absence by working together with the acting supervisor to ensure all responsibilities were covered as needed.

Corey Hughes — The Eden School
Corey comes to work each day with an upbeat, positive attitude and encourages his fellow staff members to continue working hard. In addition, he shows compassion and understanding towards all students and puts a smile on everyone’s face while creating a happy, positive learning environment for everyone.

Sabrina Livingston — Adult Services, Residential
Sabrina showed compassion by comforting one of our participants while in the emergency room, and stayed until the supervisor arrived.

Congratulations to all our winners, and thank you for all that you do for our participants! Staff can nominate next quarter’s winners on the Eden Staff Matters portal.
