Eden Autism welcomes new Chief Clinical Officer Timothy Nipe

We are pleased to announce that Timothy Nipe, Ph. D, BCBA-D has joined Eden Autism as Chief Clinical Officer, effective September 2023.

In this role Tim will provide leadership and oversight to Eden’s Clinical Services, serving the Eden School, Adult Services (Residential and Day), and Outreach. He will also be a member of the Senior Executive Team (SET).

Tim brings 19 years of experience and expertise serving autistic adults, adolescents, and children with severe challenging behavior. His diverse experience includes clinical director roles at Bancroft and Melmark.

Tim’s extensive work experience includes the supervision of clinical teams, creating and introducing evidence-based clinical systems, conducting direct observations and functional analyses, formulation and implementation of Behavior Support Plans (BSPs); review of criterion-referenced assessments; and development of goals and objectives.

Throughout his clinical career, Tim has provided professional development and training to staff and has supervised individuals pursuing their BCBA certification. Additionally, he has designed and taught courses in the treatment of severe challenging behavior and single-case experimental design at Rider University and Endicott College.

Tim’s research interests include the assessment and treatment of high-risk challenging behaviors, behavioral crisis intervention training, prosthesis compliance, electronic data collection, staff training, and collaboration between behavior analysts and medical professionals. He has presented his research at conferences on both the national and regional levels as well as serving as a reviewer for the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Tim holds a Doctor of Philosophy, Applied Behavior Analysis from Endicott College in Massachusetts, a Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from Pennsylvania State University, World Campus, a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from West Chester University, Pennsylvania.
