Join the DSP Coalition, tell Gov. Murphy you’re thankful for DSPs

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, we’re joining the Coalition for a DSP Living Wage to tell lawmakers we are thankful for Direct Support Professionals.

We want Governor Murphy to know how thankful we are for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in New Jersey and why there must be salary increases in the Fiscal Year 2021 Budget.

The work done by DSPs to support those we love with intellectual and developmental disabilities is invaluable. Direct support staff are not a convenience — they are a necessity for people with disabilities and their families.

Send Governor Murphy a Thanksgiving message or forward the messages to your networks to let everyone know how thankful we are for DSPs in New Jersey.

The Coalition’s goal for this call for action is to engage DSP’s, family members and self-advocates. Full instructions from The Arc of New Jersey are provided below. If you have any questions, please contact Maureen Shea at mshea@njacp.org.
