You couldn’t help but feel a strong sense of Eden Pride as you walked through the halls of the Eden School this week, as students and staff celebrated Homecoming.
Students and teachers tapped into their creativity to create banners and classroom songs/chants, as well as wear themed colors to represent Eden.
From field day and dance parties to staff competitions, there were plenty of ways for everyone to show off their school spirit throughout the week.
The week culminated with a pep rally on Friday. Each class presented their banners and the songs and chants they made to represent their group. Special Olympics athletes and former Eden students were also honored during the event.
Eden’s 2019 Homecoming Court was crowned during the pep rally. Each of the six graduating seniors were given a special sash and crown to celebrate the start of their final year at the Eden School as Homecoming Kings and Queens.
“Our staff put so much effort into each activity, from the staff competitions through Field Day and today’s pep rally,” said Cindy Bott-Tomarchio, Director of Educational Services. “It’s a lot of work to help the students through these special activities, and everyone did a great job and showed a tremendous amount of Eden School Spirit.”
